Have you ever wondered what Equine Facilitated Growth & Development is all about and wanted to try it?
Often participants want to try a session before committing to a 4- 8 week group. For this reason, we will be running Introduction Sessions & Horses & Scrapbooking Groups during 2011. The Introduction session will run from l0:00- 12:00 during which time pictures will be taken of you interacting and playing with the horses. Bring a bag lunch, and after lunch you can scrapbook your memories with the two new pictures you are given. All scrapbooking supplies are included, You can stay and scrap your heart out until 4:00pm. Come join us for a fun and relaxing day. All you need to bring is a bag lunch and your creative spirit.

Introductory sessions are $25.00 without Scrapbooking and $35.00 with scrapbooking. Please reserve a spot by calling Lori @ 403-988-0774.
After lunch you will be given 2 pictures of yourself and the horses to scrapbook. All scrapbooking supplies included in the cost. All you have to bring is your lunch and creative spirit.

| Girls and horses have an affinity for each other. |
| In working with horses this group is designed for teen girls to look at the issues of their developmental Stage: |
For Example:
Communication Styles, Boundaries, Self Esteem, Fear and Anger, Peer Group Issues and Leadership. |
| Through learning and engaging in horsemanship, teens find themselves learning valuable skills in a fun and exciting environment. |
| Working with horses, they begin a journey of awareness and personal growth that can transfer to their own life situation |

Mothers and Daughters Journey Series |
|
| This one day workshop assists women in exploring the dynamics of relationships of mothers and daughters,while celebrating the unique bond they share. |
| Women & horses also have a unique and powerful relationship. The horse offers women the opportunity to deepen
their connection to themselves and enhance
their relationships with each other. |
| Horses are social animals and provide constant honest
feedback regarding our interactions with them. |
| This feedback provides the opportunity to explore,
clarify and build the special connection between mothers and daughters. |
| With the assistance of horses, the day is designed
for women who want to experience the unique, powerful interplay between women in their roles of mother and/or daughter. |
| Working with these magnificent animals, we explore
the feelings behind our communication; various
personality styles and how they affect our relationships. |
| Opportunities to celebrate growth in these special relationships are recognized |

Women and Horse Wisdom Journey Series |

| Women have long been drawn to horses. |
| This group is designed for anyone
who wants to explore who they are and where they are going on their life
journey. |
| Horses are extremely humbling and they can impart great wisdom into our lives, if we only take the time to listen. |
| Our 6 week Women & Horses Journey Series is designed for women who want to experience this unique, & powerful, interplay between women & horses. |
| By working with these magnificent animals, we explore the feelings behind our communication and personality styles as they affect our relationships, boundaries, self-esteem, fear & how to move forward on a journey of self discovery, to becoming all that you dreamed you could be. |

Workshops and Corporate Leadership - 2011 |
| A large part of our vision, at Inner Equine Journeys, is education as well as personal development. |
| Inner Equine Journeys offers workshops
specifically developed for those dealing with the public in the service
sector and for those in the helping professions. |
Non Verbal Communication |
| This full day, small group workshop is experiential in nature. |
| With the assistance of our 4-legged professionals, we assist participants to look at their non-verbal communication and how it affects their practices and personal lives. |
| 85% of our communication is non-verbal and sadly, we spend little time examining it. |
| Lunch, coffee, tea and snacks are provided |
| $100.00 per day |
| Certificates for continuing education are provided. |

Corporate Leadership Workshops |
| Horses offer a unique forum regarding effective communications in the
workplace, leadership and team building. |
| This approach allows participants
to reach beyond traditional workshops and truly experience their
communication and leadership styles and how they affect others. |
| Working
with horses is much like managing people and is therefore highly
applicable to the corporate or business environment. |
| As a team,
participants work as a group to communicate, problem solve, and goal set
solutions working through the exercises. |
| Horses being large are such good
mirrors, they give each participant and the group as a whole immediate
feedback. |
| Corporate Workshops will improve the health of your team and
give each individual the opportunity to explore where they fit in the team
as well as giving them an awareness, and confidence, of self and the team as whole. |
| Get out of the office and experience a new perspective on Communication
Styles, Leadership and Teambuilding. |
| Workshops can be one day or longer
and are custom built to your workplace needs. Fees will vary accordingly. |
Host Your Own Workshop |
| I recognize that some people would like to work with their own horses when doing personal development work, and, I therefore will work , off site, with clients and their own horses. |
| I ,also, have conducted workshops at private barns and equestrian centres. |
How Do I Host My Own Clinic? |
| It is easy to host your own clinic, in your home area. |
| We require a facility that will accommodate a minimum of 6 horses, and 2 participants per horse. |
| Depending on the weather, a covered arena may be advisable. |
| Together with the hosting facility, we work on the subject of the workshop, and the agenda. |
| Subjects range from: |
| an introduction to horses |
| our non verbal communication style and how it affects our lives |
| assertiveness without aggression |
| developing healthy boundaries |
| building self esteem |
| importance of self care and how we can incorporate this into our life. |
| Working with teens is a large part of my work, and I am available to do Teen & Horses Groups, and Teen Leadership Workshops |
| Clinics and Seminars can be one day, to several weeks in duration |
| Fees vary accordingly , and we work with the hosting facility on an indvidual program basis. |
